The Angry Birds are back in the sequel to the world's most popular mobile game! With breathtaking visuals, complex multi-stage levels, sneaky boss pigs, and even more devastation, Angry Birds 2 brings in a new era of addictive slingshot gameplay. Angry Birds 2 is the twelfth game in the Angry Birds series and the direct sequel to the original Angry Birds, released in 2015. It is a free-to-play game with optional in-game money purchases. You launch birds at surrounding structures with a slingshot; the difference in Angry Birds 2 from the original game is that you may choose from a deck of birds. This gives you additional flexibility by allowing you to develop your own unique techniques and strategies. Green-colored pigs of various sizes are the game's major enemies, which may be eliminated with birds, spells, items, or terrain damage. Some specific pigs can now defend themselves against birds in a variety of methods, including missiles, luring birds with a tractor beam, moving away from danger, or even changing the birds into random items. These reactive strategies, while often effective, can sometimes backfire. On cards, various birds and spells are shown. When you tap on a card, it will be selected and its contents will be placed on the slingshot for launch. You get points by destroying objects and pigs, which are then increased by the scoring multiplier of the selected bird. Bird level, highest hat level, slingshot level, and hatchling level make up the overall score multiplier. Gaining their appropriate feathers allows birds to level up. The slingshot may be upgraded by completing hat sets, giving all of your birds a scoring bonus. Finally, you may feed a Hatchling by tapping and hatching an egg near their slingshot. The hatchling gives all of the birds a multiplier boost based on their hatchling level, but it must be fed apples at least once each 24 to 48 hours to keep it from escaping. You may also level it up after feeding it enough times, boosting the multiplier bonus and the apple requirements. Multiple waves of pigs advance through separate constructions, each fully independent of the others, to reach different levels. Only three cards can be shown at a time; the remaining cards are hidden in the deck. As you destroy structures, the Destruct-o-meter fills up, and when it's full, a random card, either a bird or a spell, is awarded. Levels may include items such as an apple, a present from a friend, or a rare treasure. They can be obtained if an object goes through the item, and you can only collect them if you complete the level successfully. When a golden pig appears in place of another pig in various rooms, the "Destruct-o-meter" will be totally filled when they are smashed. They are essential to advance to the next stage, although they are useful in obtaining an additional card regardless of the amount of destruction done. If the Destruct-o-meter is nearly full, however, bursting a golden pig right away will only fill it to the full. In-app purchases may be used to get gems, lives, avatars, and a variety of other products; gems can also be obtained by performing daily missions.
