All you have to do is to match a minimum of 3 same types of candies to wipe them off the board. You can swipe on the mobile or touch screen, or use a mouse on a computer, Candy Crush Saga is in many places. Best of all, you can save them and the levels will be the same whichever device you are using. Whether you are travelling to work or trying to have a minute break to relax, you can try to pass a level. At the first few levels, the game will teach you how to play. Matching 3 candies of the same colour will clear them and the board will drop new candies at random. If you match 4 in a row, the one candy will appear as a stripe, depending on which direction you swiped to match. Match 5 of the same candies and a colour bomb will appear. The colour bomb will take off all the same colour candies that you choose, but it has to be next to the bomb. After the first few levels of warm up, the challenge begins. Each level will have an order that you need to fulfil. Some orders are easy such as matching 100 candies of a particular colour, or to remove jellies from the board. Harder levels will have blocks that stop you from getting to the jelly by putting obstacles, or a limited number of moves to get the order. Not all the boards are rectangular either, the game has interesting shapes such as the 6K board when you reach level 6000. Sometimes the boards are a challenge itself, because you will need to plan your moves to accordingly. While all you have to do is match same candies together, there are some boosters to help you win the level. There are 2 types of boosters in Candy Crush Saga. Ones that you pick before the level starts, and ones that are available next to the board. Boosters that you are allowed to pick before level starts depend on the mission. You will usually have colour bomb, stripe and wrap candies, the third booster will depend on what the level requires. For example, a Swedish fish booster, that likes to eat jelly will available when you need to clear jellies. And a lucky candy pick if you have to fulfil an order. Other times it can be a Coconut Wheel, when you use it, it will turn 3 candies into stripe candies. The most useful ones are the ones during the play, such as the free switch and lollipop hammer. The UFO will turn 3 candies into wrapped candies, while striped brush will turn 3 candies into stripe at the direction of your choice. The most special booster is the Party Popper Booster, where you can clear the board for new candies, and random boosters will generate to help you clear the level.
